Qualifications and Benefits

Anyone with an associate or equivalent, bachelor’s, or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university is eligible to join AAUW. AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There shall be no barriers to full participation in our organization on the basis of race, gender, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability or class. Membership is not by invitation. Guests are welcome at all Branch meetings.

Members of AAUW belong to a community that breaks through educational and economic barriers so all women have a fair chance. We offer like-minded women camaraderie as well as educational and stimulating branch programs. We also hope our programs motivate you to action in the form of projects or legislative work. Branch projects are offered for the betterment of our community. Other benefits of membership include:
